Raised floors for Fort Lauderdale's waterfront condos
Fort Lauderdale is a city of canals, beaches and condo towers. Its rooftops and balconies take sun, salt and wind every day. Raised floors in Fort Lauderdale fix the usual trouble: puddles, cracked tile and a slope you feel underfoot.
Our pedestal raised floors set porcelain pavers on adjustable supports over the roof membrane or old tile. The pedestals take out the slope, and rain runs off underneath. Sound old tile can often stay in place, which saves a messy tear-out.
Restaurants and event spaces fill Las Olas and the beach. For them, we offer raised patio floors, event floors and permanent dance floors. Whatever the project, the on-site estimate is free.

Rooftop and deck pedestals
Condo rooftops and balconies slope toward their drains, and many hold puddles after a storm. Pavers on pedestals give you a flat, dry deck over the existing membrane. We choose paver weight and edge restraints for hurricane-zone wind.
Event floors
Planning a wedding on a waterfront lawn or a party by the pool? A raised event floor gives tents and dance areas a level, dry base. We deliver it, install it and take it down around your date.
Offices and server rooms
Offices and small server rooms need clean floors with the cabling hidden below. A raised access floor keeps power, data and cool air under lift-out panels. Changing a desk layout means lifting a panel, not opening a wall.
Dance floors
A dance floor should give a little under every jump. Our dance studio floors and home dance floors sit on a sprung subfloor under marley or hardwood. They are permanent installs, not one-night rentals.
Vinyl flooring
Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) stands up to humidity, sand and wet feet from the pool. In a condo, the board may require sound-rated underlayment under hard floors. We help you line up the product sheets they want to see.
Stairs
Plenty of townhomes still have carpeted stairs next to a new hard floor. We fit new treads, risers and nosing in place of the carpet. The stairs then match the rest of the home.

Neighborhoods
Neighborhoods we serve in Fort Lauderdale
Galt Ocean Mile is a row of oceanfront condo towers. Their rooftop and balcony decks face open ocean wind and salt spray.
Harbor Beach homes back onto the water, and their pool decks and terraces live in salt air. Victoria Park mixes older homes with newer townhomes, a good fit for vinyl floors and stair updates.
Along Las Olas Boulevard, restaurants and shops seat guests outdoors, and a raised patio floor keeps tables level. Live somewhere else in the city? We cover all of Fort Lauderdale.
Local notes
Permits, wind and condo rules in Fort Lauderdale
Permits for work in Fort Lauderdale go through the city's building department. The city is in Florida's High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, like the rest of Broward County. For rooftop decks, we confirm engineering and permit needs with your building and the city before we quote.
Oceanfront towers on Galt Ocean Mile and high-rises near Las Olas usually keep their own contractor rules. Boards tend to want the plan and proof of insurance before work starts. We reserve the service elevator and keep loud work inside the manager's hours.
Salt spray off the Atlantic is hard on metal trim, so we review fittings at the site visit. Summer storms tend to build in the afternoon, and outdoor work is planned around them.

Common questions
Can you build a deck on my Fort Lauderdale condo rooftop?
Usually, after we check the roof's condition and slope. The pavers sit on pedestals over the membrane, so water still drains below. Your board and the city may need to sign off first.
How do you plan for hurricane-zone wind on a high-rise?
Wind is part of the plan from the first visit. We choose paver weight and edge restraints for the height and exposure. Engineering and permit needs are confirmed before we quote.
What does an estimate in Fort Lauderdale cost?
Nothing. We come out, measure and send a written quote at no cost. Send photos and rough sizes with the quote form to speed things up.
